Hey, I’m Sydney — a Midwest girl with a camera in one hand and probably a book in the other. I'm a cat mom to my spicy tortie, Gremlin, and a proud professional third wheel. If I’m not behind the lens, you can usually find me in cozy clothes, snuggled up at home, or chasing golden light somewhere out in the middle of nowhere.

Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I used to steal my dad’s old film camera when I was little, pretending I knew what I was doing, and somehow, all these years later, I get to call this my career. I’ve been a professional photographer since 2019, graduated with my degree in photography, and even earned three national awards through the American Advertising Awards. It still feels surreal to say that out loud.

But at the end of the day, it’s not about the awards or the technical stuff. What keeps me coming back — what makes me love what I do — is the people. The real, messy, beautiful stories that unfold in front of my camera. The quiet moments no one else sees. The way laughter feels when it’s genuine. The love that doesn’t need to pose.

This space, this studio, is my way of giving people a place to be themselves; a safe, open space where you can be vulnerable, silly, in love, and completely real. Because those are the photos you’ll feel years from now. That’s the kind of storytelling I live for.
